Teensy 4.1 failing high temperature testing

Hi,

We are having problems with the new Teensy 4.1 modules (DEV-16771) when a high temperature tests (0 C-60 C) are performed.
The processor reports core overhearing as soon as we approach 50C ambient temperature and Teensy resets.
The previous versions of Teensy with the MIMXRT1064DVJ6A processor chip were passing this test but they are impossible to find.
One can tell a lot of other components were changed for the past 2 years. Not sure how the board layout changed.

Is this a known issue?
Any clues of what might be causing it?

Any help/ideas are appreciated.

Eh, it’s not a known issue to us…you might try:
Decreasing clock speed if that’s an option
Heatsink
Fan/other cooling

Otherwise you might have more luck posting similar in the PJRC forum
