Hi everyone,
We are using the TF03 Long-Distance LiDAR Module https://www.sparkfun.com/products/15180 to read distance to an object. On the software side we are happy with how easy it was to integrate.
To connect it to a circuit board, the module comes with a flat white 7-position female connector. The datasheet says this would be an “MH1.25-7P” connector. I could not find anything with that name. It looks sort of like a Molex MH 51021 series, but I am not sure.
Does anyone know what I have to put on a board to match this connector?
Thank you!
Christian
Hi Christian,
While I cannot say for certain for this particular model, the [TF Mini Plus from Benewake mates with that Molex PicoBlade type connector so I think the TF03 should work with that connector type as well. A quick search turns up links to eBay and AliExpress so my guess is that connector listed in the datasheet is a generic version of the Molex connector type. Unfortunately, I do not have one available to measure at the moment but if it’s vital to know the exact dimensions of that connector, I could probably get one and measure it.](TFMini Plus - Micro LiDAR Module - SEN-15179 - SparkFun Electronics)
Hi TS-Mark,
Thank you for your help! I have a few PicoBlades here, although not in the right size, but they do look pretty similar.
My calipers say dimensions are 10.5mm x 4.0mm x 3.1mm. If that is the one, then it would be the Molex 510210700 https://octopart.com/search?q=510210700. It should mate with the 532610771 SMT connector https://octopart.com/search?q=532610771.
I will go give it a try.
Christian
