three xbees

I had my two arduinos talking to my base station pc with an xbee explorer for about an hour. Then I went and changed the speed to 115200 and now it seems like no matter what I try (which is pretty much change firmware, baud and NI), I cannot get both arduinos to send data to my base station. I can get one to work and I was starting to suspect one is bad but its late and I lost track of which one might be the bad one. I really doubt its bad I just don’t know what I am doing.

Does anybody have any pointers for getting my xbee pro series 2.5 to work?

Which XBee did you change the baud rate on? The one connected to the PC or all of them?

Did you use X-CTU the change the baud rate?

Could you query/test the XBee with X-CTU after changing the baud rate?

Yes I changed the baud rate on all of them using x-ctu. At one point I had a arduino and my base station working at 115200 just fine and then when I powered on the third, thats when my day became dark.

I can still program and talk to all of them when I install them in the usb explorer, my problem now is that I cannot get one of them to talk to the base station.

I fixed my issue by performing the following operations in x-ctu:

  1. +++ (do not press enter)

  2. ATRE

  3. ATWR

  4. ATCN

  5. WRITE COORINDATOR FW

  6. WRITE ROUTER FW

  7. CONFIGURE NI NODE IDENTIFIER

  8. WRITE COORDINATOR FW IF XBEE IS COORDINATOR
