Is input on this board from the JST connector to my microbial fuel cell, or the solder connections on the other side of the board of the LiPower? It appears input is to VCC and GND. I am working with .75 volts in on my microbial fuel cell.
Are the two solder holes near the output for a capacitor near the JST connectors to decrease ripple currents for output to my LED?
Do you have a simple diagram that shows where to make the solder connections for the jumper selectable between 5V and 3.3V output? Is the jumper currently set for one or the other 3 volts or 5?
The +/- holes next to JST are for headers just in case you’d rather use wires/soldered connections instead of JST; both it and the JST pins are the INPUTS
VCC and GND are the outputs; select 5v or 3.3v by connecting the middle pad with the appropriate voltage pad by placing a solder blob…the default is set to 5v
If you need 3.3v just desolder that blob and put one that connects the bottom pad instead
Hi Russell:
I did the exact opposite given that usually VCC is input. Hopefully I did not burn the part out.
I am not sure where the middle pad is? Might you draw a line for me on the part from point to point on where to connect the 3.3 volt to the middle pad?
I did a workshop today on mIcrobial fuel cells, and the students, faculty and I, may send you more orders if we can figure this all out.
thanks

Desolder the 5v pad and you’ll see it
