Transceiver to Servo 220606

Hello Sparkfun Forum,

A device to drop a parachute from a kite has been developed successfully. It uses a 433mhz transceiver to

signal a miniature Arduino device, a Beetle DFRobot to operate a servo.

The transceiver is by Rodot.

The Rodot transceiver range is about 60 meters when up in the air. A range of at least 100 meters is sought.

A transceiver by BSWW was installed and does not work reliably.

This a YouTube video of a demo of the Rodot transceiver.

The BSWW transceiver does not work so transceiver with a longer range is sought.

Have found devices like

RFM69HCW Wireless Transceiver - 915MHz

In stock COM-13909 ROHS

and

TI CC1101 Wireless 868Mhz 915Mhz RF Module Long Range 1.5km IPEX/Stamp Hole Antenna

SMD Package E07-900M10S SPI Wireless Module

But these seem to be the receiver without a transmitter.

Can these receivers be paired with a tranmitter? If so where are the transmitters available?

Thanks.

They use the word “secure” in the description and that probably means the signal is encoded somehow. It 's unlikely another transmitter would be able to be “paired” with your receiver without you being able to decode the security it uses.
