Trojan Virus according to Norton

My new ESP32 redboard installation encountered a Trojan Horse and quarantined it.
I searched google for this issue, and they mentioned things about security on this board, but their description is a bit too complex for me. My questions are:

  1. Is this a trojan virus?
  2. Why is Google revealing that insecurities exist in this with the expressif
  3. How do I get past this and use this board without fear of my computer getting ruined by a Trojan. Win64-evo.gen (trojan)

Norton flags a LOT of drivers as having issues, it’s just an aspect of anti-virus generally being overly cautious and creating false positives

Here are some steps you can take if you are still concerned:

ChatGPT - ESP32 Trojan False Positive (the main step you might actually want to confirm is using/uploading the questionable file to virustotal and see what shakes out)
