TRW-24G (handshake)

Hi!

Im currently attempting to establish

communication between 2 TRW-24G transceiver modules and have had no luck. I was able to get one to TX and the other to RX with one 16F627 at 3.6V 4Mhz, 8 bit address and 24 bit data. Now what Im attempting to do is get the transceivers to ping pong each other ( handshake) Im wondering if one has to configure the TX and RX everytime one switches between RX and TX? Also is there determined amount of time when switching from RX to TX anc vice verse? and well the spec sheet is leaves alot to be desired.

Thanks in advance,

well, i think these transievers are not good to recieve a single packet, but good to recieve a continous stream of packets. can i suggest that instaed of sending a single ack you actually send multiple ack in a go so that the chance of geting packet through is increased.

you can go for MirF V2 if you want to use auto ack. that i hope must work

I was just discussing this in another part of the forum, I think (if you are using the sparkfun modules) you may need to reconfigure each time for transmit and receive.
