Hello everyone, I have a question. This time I bought 4 Tsunami boards (ATSAMS70N19), 3 of which work fine, and 1 has crackling noise when playing. I used the same playing environment (power supply 5v). This makes me very confused. So has anyone encountered this problem and how to solve it? Thank you!
Can you try swapping one of the working units into the crackling one to help isolate issues?
Does placing an SD card in change anything?
Are they all using the same power supplies/wiring configuration?
This unit makes noise when playing, but not when stopped, I initially thought it was a TF card issue, then I changed several cards but still had noise. Once I replaced it with a working unit it was fine. I also checked the soldering, and it was fine too, the working environment is the same, this background pcb allows the tsunami to be plugged in.
It looks like a defective unit - Was it purchased from us? If so head over to Returns (contact vendor if purchased elsewhere) and we’ll get ya squared away with a replacement
Thanks for your reply, I bought it from Mouser, I will contact them, thank you!
Actually, on second though go ahead and use that link in my last post and file it with order #1 on our return form instead of filing through Mouser.
I bought more than 10 first generation Tsunami and there were no problems. I also bought 8 second generation Tsunami and 3 of them had the same problem, so I need to check again before filling out the return form, thank you.
