The micro SD card slot on my Tsunami Super WAV Trigger qwiic will no longer latch onto an SD card when it’s inserted. As far as I can tell, there’s nothing broken in there, but the SD cards just pop right back out. Is there some way to get it re-engage? Obviously the Tsunami is useless without it.
Is this on a recent purchase?
This product doesn’t require a working latch, it uses a friction/tension fit. Might not be ideal but I’ve had success fixing similar with - I just leave the ‘sniffer’ inserted and swap SD cards at the other end.
I bought it in May 2025. It definitely is not a friction fit—it’s the type with a spring inside.
The product I linked is a friction fit…I’ve used them for this very reason. The spring no longer matters…it just stays in the Tsunami and you swap cards in the sniffer’s sd card holder

Right on - in one case I had needed to hot-glue the sd sniffer into the tsunami (I chose hot glue because it was easy to undo). I held it in pace with 2 dabs of glue bridging the two pcbs (toward the edge, not by the metal holder)
