I know you guys carry a 10F 2.5V capacitor (SKU#: COM-00746), but how about carrying some of the bigger BoostCaps? They’re available from www.tecategroup.com, but they have a minumum $75 order. They’ve got a 140F 2.5V BCAP0140-E250 for $75 for one, or just $17 for 5-9 units (and more breaks for higher quantities).

That’s just one example, but they’ve got lots of other sizes, all with the same kind of pricing issues. Most of us don’t need enough units to hit their price breaks and make it worthwhile, but if Spark Fun were to carry a few of various sizes, I’m sure there are a number of us who would like to experiment with UltraCaps.

I’m not sure how big you guys want to go, though. I don’t know if there is much demand for a 3000F cap. That’s downright scary. :shock:

Nesscap has much more reasonable prices. 2.7V 100F for $15.30, 2.3V 220F for $20.01, both bought individually from digikey. The prices for the smaller sizes are really good too.
