Hello

I got 2 UM96 modem rf links

I connected both to my Arduino (using the software serial library) and ran a test program that would send a message through one transceiver and output a debug message if it came back through the other one. However, no matter what I do, I can never send anything through one transceiver and receive it on the other. My ultimate application is to connect one transceiver to a VenusGPS Logger Board and receive the location of my model rockets from my laptop.

How can I get this to work?

Hello?

I still cannot figure out why this is happening, but I did get it to display the start up text in Hyperterminal. Perhaps it isn’t working because I am running it off of the 3.7V of my LiPo battery. The datasheet says that it works off of 3V-5V (roundabout, I forget the actual values) but a label on the device says “5V/10mW.” Anyone know which datum is correct?
