Uno, RN-XV, & MP3 Trigger (Help please!)

Can anyone please help me with a sketch or a simple write up on how to make my Arduino Uno, the Sparkfun RN-XV, and the Sparkfun MP3 Trigger all work together? I want to use my PC or iPad be able to make MP3s play off of the MicroSD card wirelessly. I just can’t figure out how to get them all to work.

As for communications, I was thinking of the serial interface to make the communication easy. Once I have an example I can modify it all and continue to build on it to make all work. I have no idea which version of the Arduino software to use and why there are so many versions. Sorry I am not all up to date on this coding but it looks like it is easy enough to modify once it is working,

Also what is the easiest way to create an interface ? Should I use TouchOSC or can I keep it super simple and use HTML webpage to create buttons to send the serial commands?

Thanks in advance!!

Tom

To try to help the situation here I ordered two items today from Sparkfun: a XBee Explorer USB and a XBee Explorer Regulated off of the Sparkfun website. These should make it easy to ensure I can program the RN-XV correctly and keep it at the proper voltage. I was going to build a 3 volt regulator circuit, however this is plug and play, and saves time!
