USB Logic Analyzer - 24MHz/8-Channel problem in Linux

Greetings,

I just purchased the USB Logic Analyzer - 24MHz/8-Channel to start getting my feet wet with logic.

I am trying to use on an older laptop running Linux Mint. I installed everything following the directions from Sparkfun.

I can select it in the software, but when I hit the OK, it tells me I have a generic error. I have searched to find a solution, but i could only find this problem with people running Windows version.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What is the error?

Be sure to go through the hookup guide here https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/us … 1615791300 and download the Linux version of the software.
