Use 2 of 7S Cell Meters for 14S battery?

I have a 14S LiPo that I would like to check the internal resistance of. I was wondering if it would work to use 2 of the 5 in 1 battery cell meters (TOL-15348). If that does work would I need to duplicate the ground for the second meter’s balance connector? Or would I use the previous cell?

ex.

Meter 1: Gnd, Cell 1, Cell 2, …Cell 7.

AND

Meter 2: Gnd, Cell 8, Cell 9, …Cell14.

OR

Meter 2: Cell 7, Cell 8, …Cell 14.

In theory that could work, and I think you would use the lead from cell 7 for the 2nd meter…

But this is definitely in the realm of experimenting and batteries are weird sometimes…I’d be worried about variable discharge and one meter receiving power spikes or whatnot :-/ But if you’re ok with the risk, feel free to give it a go and report back!
