We accidentally purchased v10 Autodrivers instead of v13 to replace a blown driver in a chain of 8.
I have been scratching my head about making connections, and have tried what I thought would work having checked the schematics, however I had no luck (nothing moved beyond that point in the chain.)
Is this possible, and if so what connections need to be changed?
On our existing setup we are only using the following pins on the comms headers and it works fine:
GND, SDI (in), SDO DOWNSTREAM (out) (jumpers set to ‘next board’), SCK, CSN.
I tried bringing in the CSN from the comms cable coming into the v10 and routing it to the CSN pad on the board, whilst doing the same in reverse to send the CSN to the comms cable going to the next v13. I also tried swapping MOSI/MISO on the out comms header as the v13 schematic seems to have these transposed on the out compared to the in.
What else am I missing? I think its fair to say I’m pretty confused by the MISO/MOSI/SDI/SDO teminology across the two versions!
