Has anyone tried using more than one base for correction data?
I’m wondering if the firmware out of the box could handle this if I just set up the telemetry radios on both of my bases to have the same transmitter ID so both send correction data to my rover. Would collisions ensue? Could I expect better accuracy?
An update on this. I’ve tried just using two bases and a total of three radios (one per base, one on the rover) all with the same IDs. Unfortunately it very much NOT work–position data was all over the place.
I didn’t find anything on U-blox, but drotek had this to say:
"Is it possible to have multiple bases to increase accuracy?
It is virtually impossible to use multiple base modules for a normal RTK setup, as it would not increase the accuracy, and require a much more complex setup."

Hope this helps!
