Wav trigger : using 16 physical triggers with different MIDI banks?

Hi internet,

I am working on upcycling a vintage organ pedal keyboard, to use it live with a good set of samples.

I soldered each of its 13 keys to the first 13 physical triggers of the WAV trigger. It works great and sounds great.

Now, can I use the 3 remaining inputs to trigger a bank change that would allow me to choose between different set of samples ?

I know that it would be easier to use midi via the serial port but that comes with its own set of difficulties (and learning curve). I also want to keep everything on one board to keep the project cheap.

there are probably already several topics on the subject, but me not being a native english speaker, I tend to miss a lot of infos along the way.

thanks

Cyril

You can certainly do that, you’d just assign the trigger as ‘trigger bank up’ and ‘down’, it is briefly covered on page 5 here https://cdn.sparkfun.com/assets/1/c/9/a/9/WT_UserGuide_20230114.pdf and here’s a thread with a screenshot of the menu in the configurator app

Well, I’ve already assigned a trigger for “bank up” but the thing is that I don’t know how to “fill” this new bank…

I’ve labelled my first set of sample 001 to 013, do I label the new bank 017 to 030 ?
