Weather-proofing/resistancing connections

OK, I don’t think resistancing is a word, but you get it…

I’m trying to make my project at least a bit weather-resistant because it’s a dog collar. I am planning on powering it with [this battery, and was thinking I might replace that standard connector with a waterproof one. Something like [this maybe, or [this, but those are all way too big. Does anyone know of similar products that would keep the small form factor I need to fit everything into the collar?

I would probably recommend just using a standard connector with some non-conductive grease filling the cavity? Otherwise, we don’t have many options…heat shrinking would be ideal if you didn’t need to take it on/off

Hi, I’m building a GPS tracking collar for my dog and was wondering what collar you ended up using. I’m looking for something I can stuff an ESP32 of some kind inside that would be waterproof.

Thanks!
