Hi there,
I’ve been searching all over… but there are so many kinds of connectors. mind boggling!
Could anybody tell me what these connectors are called… and for bonus points where I can get them?

They are often referred to as quick disconnects.
you crimp them onto the end of a wire (usually). Or solder them on.
They are available in 3/16" and 1/4"
McMaster Carr has them in a variety of insulated barrel, fully insulated, etc.

Hey DanV!
Thank you (again) for being on top of things!
I actually have a nice assortment (something like [this ). I wasn’t aware that these are called Quick Disconnects in English. In Dutch we often refer to them as AMPs, possibly because they are produced by AMP.
I was aware that these will work, but I was hoping to find the exact boxy model like that are used in the picture. Sucker for trying to stay close to the original I suppose ;)](https://www.aliexpress.com/item/900pcs-female-spade-terminal-Crimp-Connector-and-fully-Insulated-quick-disconnect-set-Wire-Electrical-tips-crimping/32782944195.html )
In Dutch they are called “schuifstekkers” often used in cars. The exact model can be found at https://www.lpgonderdelenshop.nl/Stekke … ijk-1-pins . or I expect in any good carparts shop
