What is the voltage of my pro mini?

Hi guys,

I got my first Pro Mini from a local shop yesterday. It came in an antistatic bag with no markings on the bag.

On the back of the board, the five marking spots are all white (blank).

How do I tell whether I have the 5v or the 3.3v version of the board?

Does this mean that this is knockoff? It was priced just like regular ones in local shops.

Here are a couple of images I took. Sorry about the quality, I don’t have a macro lens handy right now.

```You could go back to the shop and ask, or exchange it for one where the voltage rating is known.
Is there a marking on the crystal ? I can’t see it clearly in the pic above.
8 MHz = 3.3V
16 MHz = 5V
You could also connect a 9V battery to the RAW input and measure the voltage at the Vcc pin.
It’s an electronic section in a general hardware store. The section is run by an old asian guy who shows up once a week to check on things and restock. Otherwise, everything is self serve. They only had four Mini’s, all unmarked, unfortunately.
I’m pretty sure the marking on the crystal is “A H”, nothing else.
I connected a 9v battery to RAW and measured the voltage at Vcc and, voila, 5v.
Thank you.
That’s a poor excuse really. If you cannot rely on how the product works without opening the package then you should be able to return it. If you can’t get your money back then at least a voucher to buy something else.
