Hi everybody,
I’d like to build a GPS tracking system for a motorcycle. So the module will be hidden.
However, i am wondering which module should i choose in order to have a very high sensivity in order to operate into, for example, a garage.
Comparing all modules in sparkfun’s store and considering the sensivity spec parameter, the Venus634FLPx stands out.
With Venus634FLPx, can I hope to lock my position if the module is hidden somewhere on the bike ( under the seat ) ?

u-blox makes the most sensitive GPS modules, they are used by the military and police. They cost more, though.

The GS407 Helical GPS Receiver is using the LEA-5H from ublox with their Supersense tech.

They are often used for vehicle tracking and surveillance. Given the value of the vehicle they are protecting and the cost of a typical surveillance operation, the additional cost is worth paying.
