Why does my LED breakout- WS2812B come with 3 small pins?

On my LED Breakout-WS2812B it has 3 small male pins on each side of the breakout board. On the picture of the breakout board it didn’t have these pins there. Can someone tell me what these pins are here for and how to use, connect, and work with them?

We don’t make these with the pins on them, I’m not sure who put those on your board.

You could connect female jumper wires too them or plug the input side of the board into a breadboard though.

They look like https://www.sparkfun.com/products/553 Those can mate with something like https://www.sparkfun.com/products/10373

I have this too. However, for a project I’m working on I’m using QWIIC components. Does anyone know of a way to connect these 3 pins to a QWIIC system cable? There are no available pin headers because of the QWIIC board covering my Raspberry Pi Zero W.

WS2812 LEDs won’t work via Qwiic, you will need to run a power wire, a ground wire, and a data wire manually for them to function.
