Will there be Arduino IDE support for RED-V boards (maybe Hifive1 revb too?)?

The HiFive1 did have Arduino IDE support, but Hifive1 revb (the red-v is based on this board) dropped it without reason. The Freedomstudio lacks samples and has no libraries (want to use generic LCD librarry? Port it yourself!). I own RED-V board and Hifive revb (the exact same as RED-V, but with wifi, bluetooth and RGB led). These boards are expensive paperweights to me until I have basic libraries. Pretty sure other users feel the same.

Is there any plans to restore Arduino IDE support? Please!

Isn’t this a question for SiFive?

It is for Sparkfun. The Sparkfun now sells this board. That’s why I ask here. (I also asked this question in Sifive forums about Hifive1 revb, because it is their board)

I’m not aware of a Arduino core for the RED-V being in development here at SparkFun.

Unfortunately I don’t know if that’s something we will ever have done.
