Hello, I am looking for input/ideas about wireless motor control. My project would be for a shooting range. Have a target raised and lowered (I was thinking paper on a balsa wood frame.), then use arduino for timing sequences or just manual push-buttons. My initial thought on doing this is with encoders/decoders hooked to a transistor to drive the motor, or a L293d or something. As I plan on putting the electronics down range, I would want to keep this as minimal as possible.
A few questions on this:
-
what about using the basic rf transmitter315 mhz to multiple receivers? Use a different bit for each receiver for the encoders/decoders?
-
Motor control for just a quarter turn? possible to control just of few coils of a stepper?
-
Any other ways to do ‘direct digital output’ wireless control besides encoders/decoders?
