I received my WRL-15935 today. I bought it to use in building my own charging phone stand for my Pixel 4. I plugged it in using the cable and wall plug block that came with my Pixel 4 and then brought my phone’s coil near the WRL-15935. It is not responding to this. Is there something else I need to do?
Do you know the specifications that are required for charging for your phone? This module seems to be at 12V, which could be out of the range of phone charging. Is the wall charger able to output 12V?
The phone supports the standard (Qi-certified wireless charging, https://store.google.com/us/product/pixel_4_specs). Since the transmit module says it is “Fully WPC compliant”, I would expect there not to be a problem between it and the phone.
There does seem to be a problem supplying power to the module though. It does not respond to any of the power supplies that I have tried, including this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07Z3BHSRM, which specifically can provide 12 volts. I have, however, gotten the module to work by supplying 12 volts to the gold contact points that are on either side of the usb-c connector. https://photos.app.goo.gl/XQxFe9ensqSWddso9
Can you point me to a usb power supply that this module will work with?
We don’t have any dedicated 12V USB-C wall supplies, however you can try the following components with some additional parts to convert to USB-C:

If your board is having issues with the USB-C connector, I would also suggest checking the connector itself to make sure their is no damage or defects to the connector.
Hey,
I recently purchased the WRL-15935 and had a similar problem with the USB-C not working. After soldering a 12 volt power input to the two contacts adjacent to the USB-C, it started working.
