Dear gurus,
I’ve just received my Witilt v2.5 and Bluetooth USB dongle this evening, connected the board to a 5.0VDC power, and intalled Soleil bluetooth software, under Windows XP(Pentium 4 1.5GHz PC).
The Bluetooth software connection seems to be established with Serial port 5. A Blue-radio symbol is sending signal to the center ball of the software main display at th moment.
I am reading the WiTilt v2.5 manual, stuck at the end of “3.1 Bluetooth,” saying “upon making the connections you should see the configuration menu come up.”, since I don’t see any configuration menu explained at the"4.1 Top menu and Start/stop."
Any suggestions to this newbie problem are welcome.
I really appreciate your help.

p.s. I am wondering whether I should have prepared any other devices such as PIC or some hardwares other than my current purchase items to be able to acquire 3-axis accelerometer data from the WiTilt board.

              Dear gurus,
In the meantime, I could find some answers from this site. Hyperterminal of the WindowsXP is one of them. I could set data output frequencies at 220Hz.
Some of the data, especially Z values are missing, 1 out of 15 or so.
Another problem is that I could not stop the data streaming coming in to the Hyperterminal display, even if I hit the spacebar several times, with some side effects of menu texts scattered.
Any comments or suggestions are welcome.
I appreciate your help in this regard.

              Jong,
the Z axis of the accelerometer has a bandwidth of up to 150Hz (as compared to the the X & Y with a bw of 350Hz). This may explain the missing Z values when you are sampling at 220 Hz.
As for stopping the data stream in HyperTerminal, I haven’t found a way to do so at high frequencies. Spacebar only seems to work at lower sampling rates.

I am enjoying the product.
