I mounted my LED’s to a panel of foam board (big ellipse) and connected a 5V source
I used the Arduino sketch provided
BAM - it works great!
I began figuring out the code and messing around with it
I have plans for this product, including but not limited to the following:
- Mood light - using slide-potentiometers for brightness and color selection
- Behind the TV - they say it makes TV viewing more enjoyable - thought I'd try it
- Flash-to-music - always a fun thing at parties
- Possibly add lights to work area - use "bright white" when I need extra light to see stuff I'm working on
This is a great product and I’m enjoying it very much - I really appreciate the sample sketch which helps me get going quickly - awesome
. . . a photo of the working prototype . . .
I’m not sure how much this piece of foamboard cost . . . I do remember getting it at the dollar store though . . .
Enjoy!
