i had really poor performance after using WRL-14875 with 1w Sparkfun Lora breakout so i used my VNA to check SWR of these antennas, and they are all sky high and over 4.5 SWR in the 900Mhz band, although labelled 915mhz these are not.
I’ve used the VNA on some other 915 antennas that come with the little lilygo Oled Loras and they are 1.2 SWR, but these sparkfuns are not resonant and may cause some damage to the Lora. i bought 3 from Australian distributor and all 3 dont work, and sky high SWR. The seller told me to chase this up on the forum to get an answer. I dont have any way to contact SParkfun themselves, hopefully someone will see this post and come back with comments/solution
Posting a comment so we get an update as well - are keen to help Phil out if this is a product issue

I think the main issue in this case is that the antenna simply doesn’t fit their use-case; it is marketed as an 860-960MHz with a center frequency of 915MHz, meaning it has a broad spectrum that is not narrow around 915
I’d recommend replacement with another more-suited option or a refund :-/
