WRL-14131 don't read the tag WRL-14151

Hello dear, I share the following question with you to see if you can help us.

We would like to implement a project with some RFID products from Sparkfun. In order to make a validation test, we are trying to replicate the instructions detailed in the link https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/si … 1514984116

We are using the followings products from Sparkfun:

Reader SEN-14066

Antenna WRL-14131

Tags WRL-14151

TNC to RP-SMA CAB-14132

RP-SMA to UFL WRL-00662

Arduino UNO

We have read the tags with the onboard antenna, but when we test with the external antenna the tags are not detected.

Please share with us an instructions set in order to test the external antenna isolated from the system, in order to validate separately if it is OK, and some recommendations to use it.

have you changed the solder jumper from onboard to external antenna as mentioned in https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/si … al-antenna. Else can you share pictures ?

We have made that connection but still the antenna does not receive anything

It is hard to see the soldering for the switch from internal to external antenna. Can you make a (very) close picture of that ?
