I have an Xbee 3 Pro SMA and and antenna (both purchased from Spark fun), the antenna threads onto the Xbee with no problem. But, I also purchased an SMA male to female interface cable so that I can mount the antenna somewhere other than the end of the Xbee. Trouble is that the interface cable won’t thread onto the Xbee (it is an RP-SMA). The antenna will thread onto the interface cable, though, but feels a little loose. Also the interface cable will thread onto my 2m HT antenna with no problem. Has anyone else had this problem?
