I am currently working on a project where I am using the Arduino Motor Driver and SparkFun Xbee board’s, but running into issues as both board’s use the D3 pin. The xbee board looks like you can change this somehow, I just not sure. Can someone point me in the correct direction?
The switch on the shield selects which set of 2 pins end up connected to the XBee Din and Do pins. One position gets you the Uno’s D0 and D1 pins. The other position selects whatever 2 pins are connected to the solder jumpers. From the factory those pins are D2 and D3. Open up the solder jumpers and you can run wires from any Uno pin(s) to IN/OUT pads on the level shifters (or the appropriate switch pins if you want to keep it’s functionality).
