XBee shield on other digital pin on the Arduino

I’d like to use the XBee Shield with DIN and DOUT pins of XBee going to pins D12 and D13 on the Arduino.

I understand that I must “open” SJ1 and SJ3 solder jumpers.

After I have opened the jumpers, where on the XBee Shield can I pick up the OUT and IN signals? I can’t cut the D2 and D3 pins as I need them for a shield higher in the stack. Note that IN and OUT are not directly connected to DIN and DOUT on the XBee.
