120VAC to 5VDC

How would I go about converting 120VAC to 5VDC? I would like to include it on a custom PCB, so it has to be some kind of component/circuit. Thanks! :slight_smile:

What current? Easiest would be a power supply module; alternatively you could build your own with a transformer, rectifier, and regulator. Just remember the safety issues with the high voltage side. You may want to look into using 5VDC output wallwart instead and keep the high voltage off your board.
