Aardvark to QWIIC cable / board?

TotalPhase Aardvark uses the 2x5 IDC female connector. Don’t seem to find a conversion board that goes from one of these sockets to QWIIC from what I can see, but the world is full of makers. Anyone make such a thing?

Not that I’ve seen - I will say I see those commonly marketed as a ‘2x5 shrouded connector’ (and permutations thereof)

I’m not certain of the M pin size on the IDC, but if a regular F dupont connector will fit you could just use Flexible Qwiic Cable - Female Jumper (4-pin, Heat Shrink)

Yeah, I think I’ll get the male version and just plug it into the IDC 2x5.

I wonder what the run cost is for Q5 of a conversion board with PCBA. Might just try it to see how cheap PCBWay can be for such a simple board…

I haven’t seen a pre-made adapter for Aardvark to Qwiic, but you could easily make one using a small breakout board and some jumper wires. If you’re comfortable with soldering, you could design a simple PCB or use a breadboard to map the 2x5 IDC connector to the Qwiic standard (I2C pins + power). Otherwise, a custom cable with IDC to JST-SH connectors might work too.
