ADIS16350/ADIS16355 High-Precision Tri-Axis Inertial Sensor

Hi SF,

please be with me it is my first post here

It is possible to make Breakout Boards for new Analog Tri-Axes sensors ADIS16350 and ADIS16355.

Specs for these sensors really good and will help a lot of people in robotics/stabilization field.

According analog.com sensors are in production already.

Thanks, Sergey

They are nice, but rather expensive.

Leon

Hi Leon,

It depends of point of view…

lets count:

31x gyro = 3 about 60$ = 180$

1*3x accelerometer= 30$

Total: 210$ + a/d + cpu for 14 bit a/d + development + testing + errors … in this case $275.00 sounds not too much… (yes I know price for 1000)

and $359.00 for fully calibrated sensor (may be a little bit too expensive for hobby use but …)

I believe low quantity prices should be much low - so people will start testing this sensor
