Hello,
I would like to use AHPI7292S Evaluation Kit for an evaluation of RF performances of Ha-Low protocol.
I may need your support to modify the script of the firmware in order to transmit the right waveform from the Ha-Low device that will be analyzed by our VSA.
Here is the test suit I need to perform:
Output power:
Spectrum Mask
Frequency Error
Modulation Accuracy
Channel testing
Sensitivity & Packet Error Rate
For that, I need continuous and modulated waveforms at different frequencies of Ha-Low range.
Could you please help me on that ?
Thanks & Best regards,
Asmaa
Hello,
Did anyone before use the AHPI7292S Evaluation Kit to evaluate the RF performances?
I would like to know if there is any support or any release of this kind of test tools and firmware…
Thanks & Best Regards,
Asmaa
Thanks @brow, yes this is the Evaluation board I would like to use.
I just wanted to add that if there are any AT commands that I can use to program the device in the wanted modes, it would be enough for my case.
Thanks,
Asmaa
Hello @TS-Russell
I tried to contact the Technical support team several times, but I didn’t get any response.
However, I continued my investigations and found a list of AT commands for this module (attached file).
Could you please confirm if these commands could be used the way I wanted to:
AT+WCTX: send dummy data frames for continuous TX without connecting to AP. (I think this command could help to generate Tx packets that I can analyse using the Vector Signal Analyser)
I couldn’t find any function to set the module into Rx mode, could you please advise on this?
Hi @TS-Russell
Thanks for your confirmation!
Regarding RX mode, I checked the AT commands documentation, and it doesn’t describe what I need. In fact, the Rx test I would like to perform on the EVB consists on sending some packets from the RF Vector Signal Generator (VSG) and getting the count of received packets from device (Packet Error Rate PER )…
Is it possible with AHP17292S?
