I’ve been trying for many many months (since June 2022) to get a clean log file from the Base (PPP Logging Defaults). I’ve tested with multiple different firmware versions, including recently the latest version 3.1 on a Facet.
Recently, I used the SD Formatter to format the SD card, reset the Facet to factory defaults, reset Profile1 to factory defaults, turned it on, set it to PPP logging defaults with the serial menu, setting it to Base mode, letting it survey in, and let it log for a few hours. The UBX_Integrity_Checker.py gives up (“Panic! Maximum rewind attempts reached! Aborting…”) there are so many errors in the log file.
Has anyone be able to get a successful clean no-errors “PPP” logging file from a Base?
This is an important capability, because I should be able to post-process the log data to get very accurate coordinates for where the Base actually was, and correct the errors in the collected Rover coordinates due to the +/- 1meter errors in the Base Survey-in process.
If so, how did you do it?
Thanks,
Tony.
