Arduino shield for QWIIC systems question

Hello!

I have here a Galileo V1 board, and I am wondering if it is supported by the Sparkfun Qwiic Shield for Arduino, which is at this location https://www.sparkfun.com/products/14352 .

I believe it does have the SDA and SCL locations separate from the Analog connections. Which suggests it was designed the same way as the Arduino UNO board, and of course the RedBoard.

My only concern is if the examples for the AVR based platforms will work on an X86 and this also applies to the folks at Adafruit, which I’ll follow up there.

Yea, they have the same footprint so they should line up fine

I’m not too familiar with the galileo v1, but refer to this schematic https://cdn.sparkfun.com/assets/5/1/a/3 … no_v10.pdf for our side of things and the galileo datasheet https://cdn.sparkfun.com/datasheets/Dev … 81_003.pdf for its pinmap (+ its i2c/IO jumper info)
