Arduino support Cortex-M now?

Hi,

Many years ago I ran my small project on UNO board. Now I am going to select a ARM core board to implement a project quickly. Does Arduino IDE support CORTEX-M MCU ready now? So is there any CORTEX-M board supported by Arduino?

Thanks

This question could probably be better answered by Arduino, but a general answer would be yes, the IDE does support ARM Cortex-M. There are several existing Arduino boards that use ARM Cortex at the moment.

The IDE may not have support for ARM when you download it, but you add support by installing an Arduino boards package that contains the core for whatever particular ARM processor is on your board. You are limited to ARM

Thanks a lot.

Your answer gave me a certain reply. I will buy a ARM base board to study.
