I have an Arduino UNO that does not connect via USB (when plugging in to USB Port, no acknowledgement from Windows that a new device has been plugged in) and the IDE is unable to see the board. Comparing to another UNO that works fine, I notice this has a constantly flashing yellow LED marked “L” on the board.
Can anybody advise me what the yellow LED indicates and what it is trying to tell me. It flashes rapidly (on and off twice per second approx).
Is the board faulty? Can it be the processor chip which can be replaced?
Thanks in advance for your advice.
