Artemis RedBoard failed to enter bootload mode

I have two RedBoard Artemis (DEV-15444) units and I am having an issue with one of them. I can do exactly the same thing with the second board and it operates fine.

I have attempted to upload an example sketch (Apollo3 Example04_Serial) to the problem board via the Arduino IDE and so far have not had any luck. I have followed the guides on the product page and searched the forums for a possible solution with no success. I get the following error message:

Artemis SVL Bootloader

Target failed to enter bootload mode. Verify the right COM port is selected and that your board has the SVL bootloader.

I have already gone through the steps suggested in other posts outlined by the following link:

https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/de … rogramming

I have also tried to burn the bootloader again which returns a failed to connect error.

I have removed and reinstalled the ch340 drivers listed in the guide and still not had any uploads succeed however I don’t believe this would be causing the problem as the second board has no issues communicating.

I believe the Artemis module is working as LED13 is blinking indicating a test sketch has been loaded prior to shipping.

Does anyone know of a way to get this board working?

If anything does not work, I think you have to claim your warranty (if still applicable).

Thanks for your assistance bidrohini. Looks like I will have to go down the path of a warranty claim.
