I’ve verified that the Pi zero is working by putting NOOB on the 2.3GB partition, I can see two partitions that are empty, one is 2.38GB and the other is 31.7MB, the included SD card is 16GB Ive tried two different computers and no luck, I did order a usb micro SD adapter to see if it’s my reader. No boot shows up on the pre loaded sd card with sparkfun autonomous kit v01-01, I have show hidden files checked, Windows 10 PC. What am I missing?
When I use disk management I can see 2 partitions, Primary, Extended, and Free, The free space has no drive letter assigned to it. Did I get a blank SD card? should I just delete everything and make it one partition? the file size for the kit img file is 7.8GB or should I add a drive letter to the free space and install the autonomous kit img on the free space? Thanks.
Tried that and it still says file size to big, 11.99GB free drive letter G autonomous kit img 7.8GB is the card formated for linux only?
Feeling kinda silly, Linux only… USB Umbuntu should do the trick. Sent the card back to be rebuilt.
To help any other newbies like me, Ubuntu can be found of the MS store, ssh only (terminal) you can install a gui with “sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop” or a bootable usb drve. I did both. Grab a USB flash drive 16GB or more and the latest ubuntu and use USB Installer from linux.
I guess I should add a link to [how to flash an SD card to the [troubleshooting tips section.
Again as mentioned in the troubleshooting section, search engines are a great resource for finding information.
