Does BatchPCB support custom soldermask colors? If they do, can you set them in eaglecad, or do you set them when you order the pcb :?:

Gerber files don’t have any way of defining colours, they contain dimensional data only. Soldermask colours must be communicated to the board manufacturer , with other manufacturing requirements, in a separate document.

I’m pretty sure BatchPCB doesn’t support custom soldermask colors. Since your design will get put on the same panel as other people’s designs, you’ll all get the same color. In order to allow someone to select a different color than the standard, they’d have to run a separate panel for just that person, which would be expensive.
I suppose they could offer the option, with the caveat that your design will sit and wait until enough people have put in orders with that color so that they can fill up a panel with those designs. But you could wait a long time.

No. To do so would violate the terms of the service.
If you really want a different colour ask a different
board house. GP does the manufacturing for BatchPCB,
they will provide other soldermask or silk-screen
colours, but you have to order in whole panels to get
it (Approx 150 sq inches, IIRC).
