I’m having some problems talking to the BGB203 DIP Module over Bluetooth on a Mac. I followed the instructions here: http://todbot.com/blog/2006/02/23/howto … rial-port/, and everything seemed fine up until the moment I connected to the module in ZTerm. Then a bunch of random ascii started streaming out in the terminal, and the device was (as far as I could tell) unresponsive to the ‘+++’ and ‘AT’ commands. I’m pretty sure the electrical connections are as they should be (VDD->+3.3v, GND->GND, PIO4->GND), so I’m at a loss as to what’s causing the weird behavior. Any ideas would be appreciated…
Just to jump in and respond to myself… the random ascii has stopped now that I’ve attached a more stable power supply. But there’s no response in the terminal to the ‘+++’ and ‘AT’ commands. I’ve tried this at various baud rates. Local Echo is on. Again, any help appreciated muchly…
