I’m using a couple of Roving Networks Bluetooth products purchased through Sparkfun for a project – the Bluetooth DIP Module, which is working fine, and the RS-232 - Bluetooth adapter (http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/produc … ts_id=8495), which is causing me problems.
Quite simply: when I connect my device to my computer with a cable, data comes through fine. When I connect via Bluetooth, I get gibberish. I’ve set the baud rate on my terminal and on the Bluetooth adapter (via the SU command) to 38.4k, so that’s not the problem. I’ve tried setting the adapter in DTE or DCE mode, but gibberish (albeit different gibberish) either way, which is curious. In addition, I actually have two of the RS-232 adapters, and have tried both, with similar results, so I don’t think the device is just fried. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
BC
