BlueSmiRF one way communication

I’m not sure if there’s anything wrong with my bluesmirf or i am doing something wrong. I haven’t used my bluesmirf for a while. I hooked it up to my laptop’s serial port (though ttl to rs232 converter). I tried communication through hyperterminal but I can only send data to the bluesmirf but could not receive data back. Anyone have any insight? Much appreciated.

one of the bluesmirfs i bought came without a level shifting transistor and this the rx pin was disconnected from the rx line on the bluerf. have you checked your board for any missing componenets

If a non dings-and-dents sold bluesmirf came missing parts, please do let us know and we’ll be happy to swap it for a new one!
