(Another question about the Thing Plus C)

I’d like to avoid touching the SD card. (they’re always fragile)

Is there a way to use the boot select button so that the card may be accessed through the USB port … in this case I’d be able to view/edit the files via Windows Explorer.

Perhaps when clicked / selected appropriately the board mimics a USB hard drive … then when unclicked / unselected the board returns to standard operating mode?

With custom firmware on the board maybe? The board as shipped is not able to be mounted as a USB mass storage device.
