Bouncing ADXL335 values

Hello Everyone

I wanted to ask about a strange appearance. I just received the ADXL335 and connected it to an Arduino UNO. I used powering by connecting it to the Analog IN pins aswell as 3.3V and GND from the power pins of the Arduino. But thats not the problem i suppose. My Problem is that i get weird values for x,y,z. The values seem to loop from 0 up again and again. Does anybody know about this or a similar problem?

Thanks for the support.

Best regards

kath

Me again…

Sorry for the stupid question, but i might found the problem. It could be that i did not properly wire the parts. I will test it again after having assembled all properly with some help. I have to admit that im not very used to assemble electronics.

Thanks anyway…

Regards kath

3.3V and ground to power to ADXL335.

Instead of connecting the X, y & z analog outputs to the Arduino, measure these with a Voltmeter (black connected to the ADXL355’s ground). This way any Arduino code issues are not involved.

Let us know what values (Voltage) you get on each ADXL355 output.

Hi waltr
