When finished with breadboard / “DIP” microcontroller, what may I need to know when designing the final PCB. Does the microcontroller react exactly as its DIP version in terms of programming it?
If you’re asking “is there any additional considerations I need when using a SMD package of the same microcontroller I prototyped on a breadboard with the DIP package?” then I would say “it depends”. It’s your job as a designer to look for any differences in pin configurations, I would think as a general note that you may see more power pins on a SMD version since the pins are smaller. In that case it would be recommended that you include additional decoupling.
Well yeah I’ve noticed that from the data sheet, I just wasn’t sure if there was something different I should do for MKii upload.

*It would be kind of hard to design a PCB without studying the pinout in the data sheet lol :,
