I think I bricked my redboard artemis and need to reflash the firmware. Can a J-Link EDU programmer perform this task through the JTAG interface breakouts and is the firmware for the board available?
After obtaining a Seggar J-Link EDU mini programmer and installing the Ozone IDE along with other tools, I was able to connect to the “bricked board” and eventually overwrite an offending memory value that caused the board to disconnect after only four seconds following power on. Once the offensive memory value was replaced with a good value I could then erase the chip memory using J-Flash Lite and reprogram it with a known good program. It now works as it should.
Shortly after figuring this out on my own I received a reply from Ambiq support on this issue and was directed to the following link, which describes a method that may have given me more than 4 seconds to complete the steps needed:
